PostSubject: The german......   Cruickshanks new role? - Page 2 Icon_minitimeSat Oct 14, 2006 1:07 am

The german rumour can be cleared up easily... one sunday drinking session a bloke proceeded to spin a story regarding his footballing past and loaded with magners myself, colly and a few others took the bait and asked him to train with us, however he has never produced depsite saying he would on numerous occasions!

Just goes to show i can actually be thicker than i look!

p.s. new centre half would be stop-gap measure as most of us know a certain Mr Robson is bringing his national service to an end next year and if he can convince kim that the shops dont open till sunday afternoon he'll be available and go straight to the top of the blue moon list!

"Blue moon, You saw me standing alone,
Without a dream in my heart,
Without a love of my own,
Blue Moon"

Think I must admit skipper took well to being dropped at waterhouses and has responded well by his performance against that team we played at the weekend...... looks to be even more important this continues as we seem to be picking up injuries faster than Jonny Woodgate, with our manager posing the question monday night 'How long is it till John Robson is back?' Always in his thoughts..... like I said the true blue moon!
