FACE FACTS

I just think that its important that we all, as a group of serial under-achievers face facts. I am heavily involved with the squad and it pisses me off to see the current state of affairs considering the talent we have.

There is too many people in our squad up their own arse. Some lads (you know who you are) spend far too much time telling each other how good you are and how you’re going to do this that and the other when really you are doing sweet fuck all really. Instead of making an excuse at every opportunity (bad pitch, bad refs, offside blah blah) just take an honest look at yourself and your contribution. If everyone did that honestly then I am sure things would improve very quickly. A perfect example is Sunday – yeah they scored very late on blah blah blah but you can’t tell me our second goal should have stood! It was an obvious foul in the box.

This is how I see things (my opinion only) and how we can improve things:

Lets start wi the gaffer. Yeah we all know he loves the game, the job, and us lads. He lives it with us every Sunday morning and you can see the passion in him during the game. He is the first to admit he lacks experience having not played himself – however he is learning all the time and getting better. I do think he struggles to get respect cos of the way he sometimes speaks to us as a group – if he realises that there is “more than one way to skin a cat” then things could be better again.

It also does my heed in when he screams at me on a Sunday morning. For fucks sake I work hard all week to enjoy the weekend. I want to win at all costs, but don’t need him gannin nuts in me face cos I have had a dozen pints on a Saturday night! Despite that, he is the boss, he wants the best for us so perhaps we should all stop twisting, bitching and sniping and just got on with the job in hand and do our best for him, the club and most importantly our own pride.

Do we have the right man as captain? Is he a leader? Are there better people for the job? We should decide this together rather than giving individual comments

Anyway that’s my rant over – maybe we should all sit down together before the game this week and discuss exactly what we want from this season, from each other and from the gaffer. He can have his say (which he does every week). Maybe it will clear the air cos things are shit at the minute and nobody can deny that.

Lets sort this season out now before we blow it good and proper....

Think although its a rather long rant it does have its merits think we should all get together friday and fucking pull each others heads off to sort everything out clear the air etc and get back on track!!!!!!!!!!

One point to add to list above for all I enjoy the website for the crack think its a major downfall of the team as seems everytime someone talks about the season its "i've got x amount of assists and x amount of goals" which creates a big greed mentality and people stop giving the ball to people in better positions, noone every says we have done its always I have!

Yes granted lately i haven't seen many fridays out but I am out tonight bonny lad.... not that many will be KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN! Think Hilton should step in and arrange this to be honest and we can sort all issues out then

As for leadership who would stand out as a leader in the team?

sad thing is i dont think we have 1 thats what we are lacking
